About Us

HOW WE BEGAN

Listen to Matt Howe, Program Director of The Plymouth House, talk about the 1st Climb Above Addiction, which raised $7,000 for scholarships to The Plymouth House, putting two people through treatment.

WHO WE ARE

Climb Above Addiction is an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds to combat the addiction crisis in our community. In partnership with CADY (Communities for Alcohol and Drug-Free Youth) and Enactus, we aim to inspire positive change through education, outreach, and fundraising efforts. Our mission is to empower individuals to overcome addiction and support prevention programs that promote healthy, substance-free lives. Together, we’re climbing above addiction to build a stronger, healthier future.

WHAT WE DO

We seek to raise awareness of the addiction epidemic and to Climb Above Addiction by supporting prevention and recovery in collaboration with our community partners. The $10,000 raised from the 2019 Climb Above Addiction team (photo above) contributed to the work of CADY (Communities for Alcohol- and Drug-Free Youth). Their mission is to prevent and reduce youth alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and to promote healthy environments and promising futures. On the side is a video of Alex's Story, a young man who struggled with addiction and tells his story through the work of CADY.
